First Scrapbooking of 2013

Well Christmas is over, the decorations all packed away and the house cleaned (well sort of) time to get back to crafting.

Its our first scrapbook crop of 2013 at Church on 12th Jan so thought I had better get started on the samples.
The kit this month contains papers from Kaisercraft Periwinkle collection, matching cardstock and Kaisercraft Pearls.

I have made 3 layouts from the kit

The first one I did  following a design in the Kaisercraft magazine, the photo is my twin daughters on their 21st birthday last year.
Additional items used were distress tool and distress ink

The second layout was done using sketch 241 over at Creative Scrappers
http://creativescrappers.blogspot.co.uk/2012/12/sketch-241.html
Additional items used were a circle template, dotty stencil, flower and letter stamps and distress ink
The photo is of my daughter and our boxer dog Brandy who was just 3 months old at the time, at Dovedale, Derbyshire, December 2012

The third layout I designed myself wanted to bring my love of patchwork into my scrapbooking so used traditional hexagon shapes with faux stitching.
Additional items used were hexagon templates and black fine liner pen
The photo is of my eldest daughter and her fiance at Hampton Court, January 2012
