One Layer Challenge

Its the one layer challenge over at Less is More with the added theme of 3 ie 3 of something.  Its ages since I've had time to do many challenges but was detemined this week to find time to have a go

http://simplylessismoore.blogspot.co.uk/2012/07/week-76-one-layer-challenge.html

and here is my attempt

I masked the centre rectangle using post it notes and then used ink sprays in green and rust to achieve background,  I then stamped the 3 dandelion heads in bamboo green with a little bronze ink,  with the sentiment stamped in black, finished off with clear stickles dabbed on the dandelion heads.

I'm quite pleased with the finished result

Scrapaholix July Crop

It was that time of the month again last Saturday, our monthly Scrapaholix crop and I've finally got around to finishing the layout that I started.

The kit this month included patterned papers from the "Celebrate" Collection by Authentique, the technique was paint dabbers.

I based my layout on the July sketch over at Once Upon a Sketch http://onceuponasketchblog.blogspot.co.uk/2012/07/july-challenge.html
which also was using the theme "Friend"

The photograph is of my twin daughters and was taken on a recent trip to London that we did to celebrate their 21st birthday.  They may be Sisters and sometimes argue a lot but they have always been and I hope always will be good friends.
